The Cheering Section

Image
This morning will be filled with our last Upward games. We always sit in the same place. For every game. Anna Brooke will be sitting on the steps cheering her little heart out. As loud as she can. And Sarah Belle will be sitting next to me. Watching the cheerleaders. She cannot wait until next Fall when it is her turn to be a cheerleader. And, our wild man will be a little bit of everywhere. When he is yelling for his brother playing basketball, this is what he will look like. Happy Saturday from FullerTown!

Cheerleading 101

Image
Anna Brooke has always wanted to be a cheerleader. She has pretended for many years that she was a cheerleader. Now, the time has come for her to be a cheerleader. She is cheering for the local Upward league. At first, it was all about the outfit. But, once she met all her new friends, she was oh, so happy! She loves the cheers, the movements, the halftime show! She gets better and better at remembering the cheers and movements. I like to think she is the cutest cheerleader, EVER, but I know I am a little biased!! After the game, the cheerleaders get their stars. Anna Brooke received the gold star because she did everything just perfectly. Anna Brooke is learning Bible verses during practice and songs to help her remember them which is why it's all worth it.

What We Always Dreamed Of...

Our Saturday mornings have been a little hectic lately. But, it's what we always wanted. When we were dating and first married, we would dream of these days that would be filled with driving the little Fullers around town to ball games, piano lessons, dance class, cheerleading practice and the like. We knew there would countless hours of homework. And there already has been. We have been blessed to have our two oldest play Upward basketball this year at a nearby church . This church tries hard to make this a memorable, enjoyable, learning experience for every participant and their family. We have loved everything about Upward . The things they have learned have been fundamental to their future in these sports. If they would like to. These photos will be only of Luke and his team because Anna Brooke's game was cancelled this past weekend. We had a little bit of snow! Before each game the team meets together. When it is made up of six- and seven-year olds, I am not sure h...

My Valentine

I do not know where to begin. I am a blessed lady. I am sitting here with my Valentine talking about this wild ride of a life we have shared together. We had some big dreams when we were dating and first married. We have seen many of them become a reality. I cannot imagine what a lifetime with him will bring. One thing is for sure: I don't want to miss it! I thought I would leave you with a song that I love. It reminds me of my Valentine and how much I love him every time I hear it.

Journal Writing

I go every Friday morning to Luke's classroom at school to volunteer. I check everyone's homework and check in their take-home reader books. Then I grade the spelling tests. This morning I had a chance to look in Luke's journal that he writes in every day. He is getting really good at writing stories. He especailly likes to draw corresponding pictures to illustrate his story. As I was flipping through the journal I noticed one page that didn't have a picture. I stopped to read it. It said something like: I love Jesus. He died on the cross for my sins. He knows before I do it. I nearly fell into a heap right there in the first grade classroom. It was a good thing I was finished with my duties and could scoot out of the class so the six year olds couldn't see the tears in my eyes. As I walked down the hallway to the main entrance of the school. I was thinking to myself. We are trying to raise our little Fullers to have a full life. We want them to be succe...

The Fuller Legacy

We have always talked about leaving a legacy for our children. Understanding that we follow a rich legacy, we want to continue this blessing for our little Fullers. It's something we talk about weekly. Late last week Patrick started his own blog called The Fuller Legacy . He has already written what I consider to be two weeks worth of blogs. He says there are more!! He even wrote a very sweet post about yours truly. Enjoy!

Little Miss Cutie Two Crazy boys! Someone still likes last year's flip flops. Barbie needs to go to the Salon. My Little Pony needs to join her! Someone likes their shirt! And their basketball goal! (I think this is a great photo. It follows the rule of the nines perfectly.) We have an up and coming blogger!! She has a lot to write about!

One More Pair

Image
There's one more pair of boots I haven't told you about. I casually mentioned to my Mom several weeks before Christmas that I might like to have a pair of red cowgirl boots. I never expected to get any. I don't have any reason why, I just didn't. So when we arrived at the Western store and she told me to go pick out a pair of red boots, I was a bit shocked. After we got the children all squared away with their boots I slipped over to the Adult sized shelves to choose a pair. There were all kinds of colors and several pair of red ones. I liked these because of the snakeskin detail. And all the others seemed to have more of a rounded toe. I liked the way I felt when I had these beauties on my feet. I tried on the others. I thought about it. Mama, Daddy, Patrick and all of the children agreed that I should settle on these. I'm so glad I did.
