Here comes the Bride...

This evening has been a full one here in FullerTown . Paul and I are a little under the weather, not feeling so great. He has been asleep since 4:00!! Just since then I'm starting to feel the signs of being sick. Anyway, the Duke game just came on and to say the little Fullers are excited is an understatement. They have been about to bounce off of the walls. A few minutes ago, they each came downstairs dressed in their pajamas and "got married" here in the Family Room. "I give you this ring to be my wife." "I give you this ring to be my husband." "I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." They really did kiss each other right on the lips! Then ran in to the bathroom for a 'date.' This same scene happened a number of times with wardrobe changes in between. White dress, suit. Bathing suits. Hilarious!

Hello, Friends

I am so sorry that I have not updated in so long. I did go the Beach Retreat and did enjoy myself. Our lives here in FullerTown have been a blur since then. So much has happened I might have to look back at the calendar to tell you about it. So, I will just let you in on what we are doing right now. Everything else is old news! Luke has started his baseball practices. He has the same coach as he did in Upward basketball. He is so excited because he really likes the coach's twin sons. He is looking forward to summer. Anna Brooke is still enjoying gymnastics once a week. She cannot wait until next year when she can be on the cheering team. She is doing very well in Preschool and is looking forward to Kindergarten. Sarah Belle is also enjoying Preschool. She is learning how to write her name among many other things. She is as high-energy as ever and is always making us laugh. Paul is the cutest thing on two feet! He is a ladies' man; I understand that he has a girlfri

Gettin' Away

The past two weeks of my life have been a blur. I don't know that I can recount all that has happened besides some cooking, dishes, and laundry. And Preschool. And Carpool Line. I am leaving town in the morning to attend a Ladies' Beach Retreat. I am a little leery to leave my babies for 48 hours with no Mommy. And I know that I will miss my man. And I think he might miss me too. I hope to return here on Monday with at least one lesson learned to share with you. Maybe some insights realized or some funny story that could only occur when 17 ladies go out of town together. See you later, alligator. After awhile, crocodile.

Upward Randomness

Luke is showing some spirit. Pre-game huddle. Sweet Ryan. "Come on, Upward, get your hands up, hands up; come on, Upward, Let's go!" An Upward chant. An Upward beauty.

A Drink of Water

Image
Recently, our little Paul has learned how to dring from a water fountain. Everytime we pass by one, he wants, "Water, Water!" This reminded me of Jesus. He is The Living Water. We need to be spending time with Him daily. I am in a time right now when I can't get enough of Jesus. Every chance I get, I am reading a few verses from the Word. I hope this never fades away. My prayer for you is the same. Drink from The Word. You will never thirst again. Make sure your heart is wide open ready to hear from Him. Nothing makes Jesus more happy than for one of his children to talk to Him. And then listen to what he says. I will never look at a water fountain the same way again. My prayer is that you don't either.
