First Grade
Today was the first day of first grade here in FullerTown.
I asked him yesterday if he wanted pancakes for breakfast and he said, "I want broken breakfast." So please don't think I'm a bad Mommy for feeding my child cereal the first day of school.
Luke has matured quite a bit over the summer. He was excited when he woke up. And put on his clothes all by himself. Even his socks and shoes. He has learned a new way to tie shoes. He is quite proud of himself.
His new shoes make him run so much faster. He cannot wait to go to PE and show Mr. H how fast he can run while wearing his new 'sport shoes.'
He always begins a school day snuggling with Daddy and reading the Bible. He loves this time every day. He would rather be late to school than to miss this special time with Daddy.
Luke was all ready to go to first grade!! He had a good day. He loves his sweet teacher, Mrs. C. There are very few of his Kindergarten friends in his first grade class. He will make a lot of new friends this year. We are so proud of him!!
