Kindergarten Open House

This afternoon we accompanied our firstborn to Kindergarten Open House. He was excited to wear his new (longsleeve) clothes and sport his freshly trimmed & spiked hairdo. He jumped out of the Suburban and wanted to hold both of our hands as we entered the building. Gasp.
His class is the third one on the right, Ms. Henry and her assistant Ms. Colbert. Both are quite lovely ladies and seem to have a calming, quiet spirits. The classroom was beautiful and very colorful. Luke found several things that excited him. He met 2 of the students that will sit at his table, Amara and Caitlin. Both are darling. Then we went to the Library, this was his idea. We found the Clifford and Berenstain Bears books. Both were my favorites at his age. He found several he wanted to check out. He is bound to be a good reader! The school was all abuzz with activity and laughter. Many students were visiting their teachers from last year. This was a good sign I thought. The big day is Tuesday. Students must arrive by 7:50 a.m. Come back to FullerTown for an update!
