Boys Will Be Boys

Today started with Daddy giving Paul a special treat: chocolate milk!! In a sippy cup! Oh my!
He liked it!! Then Luke had his first Kindergarten field trip. To the Pumpkin Patch. He had so much fun. Been talking about it all afternoon. There's a rumor that he KISSED Sacannah on the way! Of course, he denies all accusations when I ask him. He has talked all afternoon about the Bubble Forest, petting all the animals, and picking a pumpkin. The camera was dropped into a mud puddle, so I only have one picture.
This is Luke, Evan, and Amara. Amara sits at Luke's table and Evan is his best friend. They had a great time!

Happy Birthday Paul!!

On Valentine's Day 2007 Patrick and I decided that we would not get each other a gift. This was the first time we had made such a deal. I did pick up a card for him and filled it out. Valentine's Day was on a Wednesday and we really didn't see each other much until after church that night. He came home exhausted. We had our little family of five all together in the Family Room and I handed him his card. I had signed it the way I usually do with an extra note on the very bottom: P. S. Baby Boy due to arrive in September. (Now, I didn't know for sure he was a boy, but I had a feeling) Patrick FELL INTO THE FLOOR!! Fast forward 7 months. I was very busy getting ready to open WEE Love Academy, the weekday preschool ministry at church. I was thinking that I would get the Preschool started a few weeks then the baby would come. What's In That Purse?

I was going to change my purse today. I was going to switch to one that doesn't look like a five-gallon bucket with straps attached. So, I dumped out the contents of my purse onto the table and could hardly believe my eyes. There was bathtub fizzy ball thing, a princess hair brush, lots of gum wrappers, an empty wallet, a songbook, a clothing tag, a vacuum belt , a ball, a USB drive attached to a Mickey Mouse keychain, 27 cents that looks like it survived The War, a Strawberry Shortcake magnet, lamp parts , a hairbow, camera, 2 birthday party invitations, a half-used Z-Pak, one ink pen, and many receipts and check-out coupons. All this in addition to a cosmetic bag filled with various shades of berry and pink lipgloss and lipsticks and a wallet with the typical things inside. So, I just have one question: What's in your purse?
